Alpine skier Jung Dong-hyun
captured gold in the men's slalom at the Asian Winter Games
Jung led all skiers with the combined time of 1:37.10 after two runs at Sapporo Teine, finishing 2.08 seconds ahead of teammate Kim Hyeon-tae.
Hideyuki Narita of Japan won the bronze in 1:39.38.
Jung topped the field in the first run with 46.50 seconds, and was also the fastest skier in the second run with 50.60 seconds.
Jung's was the 15th gold medal here for South Korea, which came to the Sapporo competition aiming to capture at least 15 gold medals to finish in the top two in the medal race.
The Asian Winter Games will wrap up on Sunday.
