Electronics Inc. said Thursday its home appliances topped a consumer satisfaction survey conducted in the United States for the third consecutive year.
Citing the report released by the American Customer Satisfaction Index, the South Korean tech giant said its home appliances, including washers, refrigerators and ovens, received a score of 83 out of 100 this year.
The U.S. industry tracker conducts an annual survey on consumers' satisfaction on around 300 companies from 43 industries, including automobiles, hotels and aviation. The research is based on interviews with 180,000 consumers.
In July, LG Electronics also stood as the No. 1 player in seven home appliances out of 11 products from a separate survey conducted by another U.S. researcher, J.D. Power.
LG Electronics said its robust performance in the U.S. is significant as the market is tightly contested by major tech giants from around the globe, adding it will continue efforts to stand as the leading firm in the region.
